That’s why Elite Laterals will not cold call any level of attorney from any of your offices for six months following a placement. Other agencies will place an attorney in one office while at the same time calling into another or even cold call your partners when placing an associate. We won’t.

Odds are the candidate you’re seeking isn’t actively looking to move. By some estimates only 15% of the market is looking, which means 85% of the market isn’t. How can we help you access that market? Subject to our Global Hands-Off Promise, Elite Laterals makes it a point to get to know attorneys who aren’t actively searching. Not only does it help our employers gain access to a significant share of that elusive 85%, but those attorneys are a wonderful source of insight about practices that we might want to consider for our other candidates.
We Focus On Fit, Not Fees
We also make it a point to introduce you to candidates who fit your needs. If you need an IP associate who can hit the ground running, we won’t send you a corporate associate interested in retooling. We also look beyond skills to other factors that power a successful match. In other words, we won’t try to shove a square peg into a round hole. If we have a question about submitting a candidate, we’ll check with you first. Our focus is on fit, not fees.
The Elite Laterals Guarantee
We want our attorneys and employers to be satisfied with the placement. That’s why Elite Laterals has a six month pro-rated guarantee. If the relationship doesn’t work out – even if it’s due to limited circumstances beyond anyone’s control (such as military service) – we will refund a pro-rated portion of the placement fee.
