To give you an idea of how dedicated we are to our candidates, consider this.  We advise candidates on what’s best for them even when we won’t earn a placement fee.  For instance, we recently introduced a candidate to an association that wasn’t using a headhunter and celebrated with her when she accepted their offer to become General Counsel.  Another candidate was interviewing with the government and law firms, and when she received the government offer she was thrilled when we introduced her to a government attorney and advised her to take the offer.  Those are just two examples of the Elite Laterals Advantage in action.

Effective Introductions
We will work with you to ensure that your submission materials are effective.  Once we introduce you to the employer, we regularly follow up with them to ensure that your application is getting the attention it deserves.  On your own, you would have to worry about access and annoying the recruiting department or team head.  With us it’s not a problem.  The employers working with us expect us to follow up with them and sometimes rely on us to make certain the process stays on track.

Expert Advice Every Step of the Way
Unlike “resume mills,” our job continues on long after we send out your resume and you receive interview invitations.  We go several steps further.  We’ll prepare you for interviews, discussing likely questions and helping you polish your presentation skills.  For those who haven’t made a move before, it can be a bit of a shock to learn how different interviews are now than when they were law students.  We’ll negotiate your offer and ask the hard questions (often about hours, salary or benefits) for you so that you won’t have to.   We’ll even advise you on when and how to resign.  As part of our commitment to being available for our candidates, we offer extended hours by appointment including weekends.

Your resume is never submitted to potential employers without your express consent, and we will not reveal your search to your current law firm.
